About me
I’m Robert Carr and I’ve been a photographer and filmmaker for the last 10 years and started taking actors headshots for the actors I worked with. The first thing a casting director will see is your headshot, so it’s so important to make a good first impression with a natural looking headshot.
I’ve written and directed several shot films which you can check out here on my Directing website. Click Here I have experience casting and directing actors, so during the session I will use my experience to capture all the looks you need.
I have a studio which is based in Sunderland, and I like to use a large soft lighting source so you have the freedom to move around and feel comfortable when shooting. During the session I can guide you through the different poses you need, and we will have time for outfit and backdrop changes. I like the sessions to be super relaxed, and you’ll get to hear my terrible jokes, which will make you laugh or cry, which is great because we need those natural looking shots.
